Hello, this is the Neo Speed Park management staff.
This time, we have some very exciting news to share: Cameron Das, a former F3 driver from the United States who now promotes karting culture around the world through his YouTube channel "Cameron Das Racing, " visited our facility, Neo Speed Park.
In his video series, he visits rental kart tracks around Japan, experiencing and introducing the characteristics and appeal of each, and finally announces a ranking of "which is the best kart track in Japan?" This circuit was selected as the highest ranking (S class) .
This visit and recognition was a great encouragement to all the staff, and it was a moment when the appeal and competitiveness of our circuit was recognized internationally.
Episode 3, which is available on Cameron's YouTube channel "Cameron Das Racing," covers a wide range of courses, from indoor courses to street karts, but the Neo Speed Park section is particularly impressive, with Cameron saying, "It felt like I was taking part in a real race."
His realistic comments are impressive 👇
"This course really makes you want to run. It looks simple, but it's really difficult to run!"
In this video, the host explores Japan's karting culture, racing and drifting at Indy Kart on the outskirts of Tokyo and the outdoor Neo Speed Park course. He also tackles the licensing system and hone his skills while competing with friends. The video concludes with a day of street karting in Shibuya, showcasing the appeal of Japanese motorsports and travel.
This video is a road trip around rental karts all over Japan. We experience the speed of an electric kart at City Circuit Tokyo Bay in Tokyo Bay, and try our hand at drift karts at Big Bang in Yokohama. We also race high-speed rental karts at ISK Hamanako near Osaka, competing against local drivers. We enjoy the thrills and skills of each location, and introduce the appeal of karting.
This video is the third episode of a series searching for the best rental kart tracks in Japan. On the way from Osaka to Tokyo, the group passes Lake Biwa, where they compete against other drivers on a technical course at Lake Biwa Sportsland. They then experience a high-speed course at Ishino Circuit. The characteristics of each track are evaluated, and an S-rank track is selected. This video introduces the appeal of Japanese kart culture and driving.
Cameron Das talks about the appeal of "Neo Speed Park"
In his video, Cameron describes the driving experience at Neo Speed Park as very impressive, and he mentions the following points in detail:
The course is not simply a flat circuit, but is designed to take advantage of the terrain with ups and downs throughout, putting the driver's braking technique and line-taking judgment to the test. Cameron commented, "At first glance it looks simple, but in reality it's a very technical course that requires concentration."
The video also shows a serious race against a local driver, with Cameron saying he was "fully in race mode." The course design, which allows it to function as a race rather than just an experience, has been highly praised even from a professional perspective.
Cameron's words, "This course requires driving to be a challenge, not just for fun," perfectly reflect the values that our circuit values. I believe that through his video, many people have become aware that while it is a karting track that anyone can race at, it also has an environment that caters to those who are serious about improving their times and those who are competitive.
Cameron Das visited a total of seven locations across Japan, including indoor, outdoor, drift and road-running karting tracks, and after comparing the unique characteristics and appeal of each, he selected Neo Speed Park as the best facility.
Partial rankings (based on what was said in the video and comments) are as follows:
Ranking | Track Name | Overall Review |
---|---|---|
1st place | Neo Speed Park | This is the most racing-like experience you can have. A fully-fledged technical course that will test your skills. |
2nd place | Ishino Circuit | High-speed sections and a flowing layout make for a comfortable and smooth ride. |
3rd place | ISK Hamanako store | A full-fledged course with a fast and impressive layout that even advanced players can enjoy. |
4th place or lower | Other indoor/drift/public road courses | Although it has its own unique features, it is inferior to full-scale outdoor circuits in terms of competitiveness and technicality. |
These results also show that the course design and driving experience at Neo Speed Park were highly rated by both competitors and experienced drivers.
Even visitors from overseas like Cameron, or those with serious motorsport experience, have a memorable driving experience at Neo Speed Park, but of course, the circuit is also designed to be safe and accessible for beginners.
